The new building is great. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. I plan on doing all my hardware shopping at South Side.

Take my advice and go elsewhere.

When I called back to make them aware of this she stated they need the bag, or pucture of it, to make sure we did indeed get only the 10 lb bag. This was a 30.00 price difference in grout. We spent well over thirty thousand at Southside for kitchen products. It cost us hours calling about for and driving to retrieve, grout in the same color, in stock, so the contractor couldfinish the following day. We had expenses of additional grout and workers who again had only a couple hours of work that day but the contractor had to pay them for coming regardless. This in turn, delayed them starting their scheduled job the following day.

Our kitchen remodel was a nightmare!

Candy billed us for 25 lb bag of grout for our back splash and sent 10 lb bag, (they still owe us the difference despite Greg telling us they would mail a check).

We ran short of trim they sent to cover all defects in cabinets, and again, they questioned why we were short. Not only did it cost me several hundred dollars extra in labor because the construction crew didnt have materials at site necessary to complete the next phase of remodel several days and had to be paid anyway, but south side was argumentative and unapologetic when it was their mistakes and miscalculation every time.

They help us with our business and very prompt very polite and help you with everything you need

We had many issues with the cabinets, our vent hood wasn't distressed as ordered and all other cabinets were. We were delayed a week and it was redelivered with obvious attempts to " distress" it after the fact instead of midway through process as other cabinets were. We felt musled and wantex to return the cabinets. We were sold on them because it was a relatively local comapny out of Missouri, we were told they were completely soild wood, and they have a lifetime warranty. We finally had the cabinet company owner come, return it and order us another vent hood that matched other cabinets. This delayed progress yet another week.

Our calls were then put through to Jarrett.

Home town service

We're utterly amazed they're still in business.

I recommend her.

Jarret was at least willing to listen to us and responded with suggestions, not denials and rudeness. He came to see the issues in person. Jarret's solution was bottom trim for cabinets to cover up the feathering and chipping issues. JW cabinetry provided the trim at no additional cost in order that we wouldn't attempt to return the cabinets. Greg, at southside, let us know thry had an attorney on retainer and could tie up the case indefinitely in court if we atmpted to seek legal advice on returning the 24,000.00 cabinets.

We had a wonderful experience with Design by Lisa with our bath remodel.

Our contractor ran short and when I called and spoke to Candy she was rude and combative. She insisted they should've had enough grout. When I reviewed the itemized receipt I saw we were billed for a 25 lb bag and were given a 10 lb bag.

South side was very helpful to sell us cabinets, tile back splash, flooring, quartz counter tops, and sink, but customer service was the worst I've ever experienced after we received the products. Sadly we paid in full before delivery

One would think the her response would've been an apology for the vast 'miscommunication', and to ask how she could make it right.

Our third cabinet base in peninsula was too large. We were delayed a week waiting on another cabinet base and when the replacement arrived it was too small. We had to use first bar front that had come damaged, as a filler in order that new bar front would fit. There were many feathered edges and defects on bottom edges of cabinets. At this point our original designer was defensive, not helpful. When we texted photos of the many obvious defects, she stated that the cabinets looked alright to her.

Our contractor said he'd not seen anything like it in the 40 years of his career in construction. He worked diligently to make the cabinets work for us. He said the sides of cabinets and bar front were not wood but pressed wood particle board. When I inquired about this I was told it took the paint better.
